As a broke newlywed and college dropout with a baby on the way, he knew it was time to hustle. He and his wife (and co-founder) Sami moved to Idaho, where they found themselves living in a place they now refer to as "the shack" – the humble beginnings of Bear Butt.

The company's success was swift and unexpected. Within a short period, Bear Butt went from selling about 50 Hammocks a day to over 300, quickly running out of inventory. Reordering and restocking, they soon faced another surge in demand, leaving them out of inventory once again.

The Bear Butt team's big break came in January 2017 when they moved into a 10x20 ft. office. A few months later, in August 2017, they packed up their growing operation and moved into a brand-new 8,000 sq ft warehouse. Today, Bear Butt has done over $5.4 million in sales, and this is just the beginning.
